ABOUT US
Growers began in the 1980s, when a young chemist, Mr Prakash Gowda, returned home to Cheekanahalli, near Belur. What started as a decision to leave city life behind soon became a lifelong commitment to farming. Surrounded by coffee planters struggling with debt and volatile markets, he began experimenting with crops, techniques, and new ideas — determined to build something more sustainable. Over time, one challenge became impossible to ignore: middlemen took the largest share of the farmer’s work. The solution was simple, but bold — sell directly to customers.
That idea became Growers.
Today, we continue that promise from our estate and at Growers Coffee House, offering coffee and plantation produce straight from our farm to you. Because when growers sell, customers take home the profit.
